The NMAT or NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is a university level admission test. It is organized for providing admission to the MBA and other management programs and courses.
The Graduate management Aptitude Council (GMAC) will conduct the NMAT 2018 exam. It’s an online management test conducted by GMAC. These management programs will be offered by various institutions and management schools, including the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Study (NMIMS) and more. The online registration process for NMAT 2018 by GMAC started on July 4, 2017 and the registration continued till October 3, 2017. NMAT is one of the most-awaited management entrance examination conducted in India. This exam is most popular amongst the Maharashtra and Delhi region. NMAT score is accepted by NMIMS University and 15 other management institutes such as Xavier’s Institute, VIT University, and IBS for admission to MBA program.

The registration for NMAT started on July 4, 2017 for admissions in School of Business Management for academic session 2018-2020 and the students, after going through formal registration in NMAT 2018, will be able to take online test in a window period from October 5 to December 18, 2017 with a choice of two more retakes after first attempt to score better. In such cases, the best of three scores will be considered by NMIMS for admissions. It is the same pattern that NMIMS followed last year as well based on your NMAT result 2018.
The candidates appearing for the NMAT 2018 should also remember that it is not mandatory to appear for all the three or even two retakes offered by NMIMS as they will not lose out in competition with other appearing candidates if they chose to take the NMAT-2018 only once. The retakes are offered by NMIMS just to improve your scores.
Eligibility Criteria for NMAT Admission 2018
Candidates must have full time bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in first attempt. The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University/Institution awarding the degree. In case, you have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school you are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for NMAT.
Students in their final year of their bachelors degree programme can also apply for the NMAT 2018 exam as they shall be offered provisional admission. The final admission will be granted once they clear their graduation exams in first attempt with at least 50% marks.
For the international candidates, valid GMAT score of 600 and above (GMAT score in NMAT result 2017 for last 3 years up to October, 2017 will be considered). Admission is subject to getting clearance for the candidate’s Government (if required) and a student visa from the Indian Embassy in your country.
Candidates who will have work experience of two or more years after graduation will be favored for admission to all full-time programmes of NMAT 2018.
Admit Card 2018 Availability
Admit Card contains your registration details and photograph. In order to take the NMAT exam, you are required to produce the Admit Card along with other necessary documents on the day of the NMAT test. Make sure, you upload your photographs as per the specification provided on the registration website, and print your Admit Card with photograph after the payment is accepted by GMAC.
You will be required to bring your admit Card to the test centre and get it signed by the test administrator at the designated place on the day of the test. If you are opting to retake the exam you must retain the ‘same’ Admit Card that you carried for the first/previous attempt. You will be required to produce that admit card and will have to get it signed and stamped at the test centre where you appear, for you to retake the exam.
It is highly advisable to preserve the admit card after taking the exam, as you will need to check NMAT 2018 results and for counseling process. If you are retaking the exam, you can use the same admit card that you used to check NMAT result 2017 last year.
Procedure To Check NMAT Result 2018
The result of NMAT 2018 was declared on 20th January 2017. Although you must keep these points in mind if want to appear for the NMAT exam in future. • Save and Download NMAT 2018 results
Your NMAT Test scores will be published on the official website, i.e. nmat.org after declaration of NMAT result 2018. Within 4-5 weeks after your test date. Once the scores have been published you will receive an email indicating that your scores are available. To access your scores you can login to the website nmat.org.in. At the same time, your scores will be sent to the schools that you elected to share you scores.
