UPSSSC Enforcement Constable PET Admit Card 2026 Released Ahead of 22 Feb Test
It’s already mid‑February and if you’ve been tracking this recruitment from the beginning, you probably sensed this stage was coming. The Physical Efficiency Test admit card for the Enforcement Constable post is finally available, and for many candidates this is not just another document — it is the checkpoint after a very long recruitment cycle.
This recruitment is the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission’s selection process for 477 Enforcement Constable posts, moving now into the Physical Efficiency Test stage scheduled for 22 February 2026.
The commission had originally opened applications back in July 2023. Forms were accepted from 07 July 2023 until 28 July 2023, and fee payment closed the same day. A short correction window remained open until 04 August 2023. At that time, it looked like a straightforward constable-level recruitment. But as with most state-level selections, the process stretched across stages and months.
The written examination was conducted on 11 May 2025. Before that, eligibility results were declared on 06 February 2024, and city details were released on 02 May 2025. Admit cards for the written exam were issued on 07 May 2025, followed by the answer key on 15 May 2025. The final result of that phase came out on 13 November 2025.
Now the focus shifts entirely to the Physical Efficiency Test scheduled for 22 February 2026. Admit cards for this PET stage were released on 16 February 2026. Candidates must log in using their registration number, date of birth, gender, and verification code to download it.
The application fee was nominal — ₹25 for all categories including General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and Divyang candidates. Payment was allowed through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash card, or mobile wallet. The low fee naturally increased participation, and whenever that happens in state recruitments, competition rises sharply.
Age eligibility was calculated as on 01 July 2023. The minimum age required was 18 years and the maximum age was 40 years. Age relaxation applied as per government norms. Practically speaking, this wide upper limit opens doors for older aspirants who might have missed earlier constable recruitments, but it also means the competition pool includes both fresh intermediate pass candidates and those with years of preparation experience.
Educational qualification was simple on paper: candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board. However, one critical requirement was possession of a valid UPSSSC PET 2022 score card. Without that prior eligibility screening score, even meeting all other conditions would not help. This filtering mechanism reduced random applicants and ensured only those already in the state’s preliminary eligibility framework could compete.
Then comes the physical side of the job — and this is where many aspirants underestimate the challenge.
For male candidates, the minimum height requirement is 168 cm (160 cm for ST). Chest measurement must be 79–84 cm (77–82 cm for ST). For female candidates, minimum height is 152 cm (147 cm for ST). These are non-negotiable physical standards.
The efficiency test demands stamina: male candidates must complete a 4.8 km run within 27 minutes. Female candidates must complete 2.4 km in 16 minutes. On paper these numbers look manageable. In practice, timing discipline and consistent preparation matter. Candidates who focus only on written preparation often struggle here. And unlike written exams, physical tests don’t offer second attempts within the same recruitment cycle.
The selection process overall includes multiple layers: written examination, computer proficiency test, physical standards test, physical efficiency test, document verification, and medical examination. Clearing one stage does not guarantee smooth passage through the next. Medical rejections, documentation discrepancies, and fitness failures are common realities in uniformed recruitments.
An Enforcement Constable role under the state structure is field-oriented. It is not a desk-heavy clerical posting. Duties can involve enforcement actions, inspections, regulatory checks, and field assignments depending on department deployment. Transfers within the state are possible over time. Those expecting a purely office-bound role may find the operational nature demanding.
In terms of career stability, this falls within the broader category of Indian public service jobs that provide structured pay scales, pension benefits under applicable systems, and long-term service security. Growth, however, is incremental. Promotions depend on departmental exams, seniority, and vacancy position. It is steady rather than fast-moving.
Now about competitiveness. With 477 posts and a very affordable application fee, the applicant base was substantial. Add to that the PET score card prerequisite from 2022, and you’re essentially looking at candidates who have been preparing within the UPSSSC ecosystem for years. That means the serious aspirant pool is disciplined and exam-experienced.
The written result was declared months ago. Those who qualified and are now appearing for PET should treat this stage with caution. Many strong written candidates get eliminated in physical rounds simply because they shift focus too late. Consistent endurance training is far more effective than last-minute running practice.
Downloading the PET admit card is straightforward. Candidates must visit the official UPSSSC website at http://upsssc.gov.in/Default.aspx and locate the relevant notice regarding the Enforcement Constable (Pravartan Sipahi) examination PET schedule. After login, the admit card can be saved and printed. It will contain reporting time, venue details, and instructions.
Read the instructions carefully. Reporting late is not tolerated in physical rounds. Also ensure that identity proof and required documents are carried as mentioned. Minor oversights at this stage can be costly.
Earlier in the recruitment timeline, candidates had access to exam hall ticket information for written stages through similar login procedures. The process remains consistent, but one should not assume past familiarity guarantees error-free access. Technical issues close to exam dates are common.
Who should realistically consider such a post? Candidates comfortable with physical exertion, field assignments, and structured hierarchy environments tend to adapt well. Those seeking rapid promotions or urban-only postings may feel constrained.
Also, preparation difficulty varies. Written stages demand conceptual clarity and time management. Physical stages demand body conditioning and discipline. Balancing both simultaneously over a long recruitment cycle requires patience more than intelligence.
It’s worth noting again that applications closed in July 2023. That gap between application and PET stage in February 2026 reflects how state recruitments unfold over extended timelines. Aspirants entering similar processes should mentally prepare for long waiting periods.
There is no shortcut at this stage. If you have reached the PET round, you are already ahead of a large section of initial applicants. But that margin can disappear in a single under-timed lap.
For official updates, PET admit card download, result notices, and related instructions, candidates should rely only on the UPSSSC official website. Any changes in schedule or additional instructions will be published there first.
The recruitment began as a notification for 477 Enforcement Constable posts. It has now narrowed down to those who cleared written evaluation and are physically ready to prove themselves.
And if you are one of them, this phase is less about theory and more about execution on the ground. The stopwatch will not care how long you prepared.
