New Delhi: West Bengal Gram Panchayat Recruitment 2024: The Panchayat and Rural Development Department of the Government of West Bengal has issued a short notice for recruitment to various posts in the Gram Panchayats, District Councils, Panchayat Samitis and Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad of the state.
This notice is available on the official website of West Bengal Government, prd.wb.gov.in. According to this, the objective of this recruitment drive is to fill a total of 6,652 vacancies, which include Clerk, Executive Assistant, Engineer, Data Entry Operator and other roles of Panchayat. For this vacancy, candidates must be residents of that particular Gram Panchayat area or district for which recruitment is being done. Besides, it is important for the candidate to be familiar with the local conditions and issues.
Educational Qualification for WBGP Recruitment 2024
To apply for West Bengal Gram Panchayat Recruitment 2024, one must have passed 10th and 12th examination from a recognized board. However, for some posts, higher degree is required.
Age Limit for WBGP Recruitment 2024
Age limit varies according to post. Youth of minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years can apply for this recruitment. Candidates belonging to Backward Class, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe category have been given relaxation in the upper age limit.
Selection Process for WBGP Recruitment 2024
Based on the requirements of the post, the selection process will include written examination, skill test and interview. There will be four sections in the written examination – Math, English, GK and Bengali. All questions will be objective. Candidates who qualify the written examination will be able to appear for interview. This will be for 15 marks.
