Educational Qualification: A degree from a recognized university or equivalent with at least eight years experience in
Finance/Accounts/Union Territories/Autonomous Organizations/Semi-Government Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings).
Desirable: CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) from recognized University.
Experience: Officers under central or state governments or union territories/autonomous organizations/Semi-Government organizations/Public Sector Undertakings
(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) Having at least eight years’ experience with five years’ service in grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay Rs. 78800 to 2,09200/- (Level-12)or equivalent or 8 years service in the pay scale of Rs. 67700-208700 (level-11) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department and
(iii) The Departmental Senior Accounts Officer in the pay scale of Rs. 67700-208700/- (level-11) with eight years’ service shall also be considered along with deputationists and in case he/she is selected the post shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. Period of deputation (including short term contract) including deputation (including short term contract) In another ex-cadre post immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed five years.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment shall not be exceeding 50 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Experience: Minimum 4 (four years) of experience of practice (post qualification) as such having expertise in handling cases of disputes, Intellectual Property Rights, legal documentation, drafting and notarisation.
