For Company Secretary Trainee : Candidate possessing CS Executive and or CS Professional examination pass certificate conducted by ICSI.

Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd. is the power transmission utility of the the state of Uttarakhand formerly known as Uttaranchal. On 9 November 2000, this 27th state of the Republic of India was carved out of the Himalayan and adjoining northwestern districts of Uttar Pradesh per the Uttar Pradesh State Re-organization Act, 2000. Uttarakhand is often referred to as the "Land of the Gods" due to many holy Hindu temples and pilgrimage centres found throughout the state. Uttarakhand , a Himalayan state comprising of hill areas, the Bhabhar and the Terai is known for its natural beauty. The state is divided into two divisions, Garhwal and Kumaon, with a total of 13 districts. The provisional capital of Uttarakhand is Dehradun, the largest city in the region, which is also a railhead. The High Court of the state is located in Nainital. Two of the most important rivers revered by Hindus originate in this region, the Ganges at Gangotri and the Yamuna at Yarnunotri. These two holi places of Hindus along with Badrinath and Kedarnath form the Chhota Char Dham, a holy pilgrimage for the Hindus. The state hosts the Bengal tiger in Jim Corbett National Park, the oldest National park of the Indian subcontinent. The Valley of Flowers, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Uttarakhand, is known for the variety and rarity of the flowers and plants found there.

The State of Uttaranchal in exercise of the power granted to it under Section 63(4) of the State Re-organization Act, 2000, formed two separate companies in power sector - Uttaranchal Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. for generation of hydro-electricity in the state and Uttaranchal Power Corporation Ltd. for transmission & distribution of electricity in the state.
