BOI Educational qualification:

• Graduation from recognized university or equivalent.
• Certification in Computer Course or Information Technology for minimum three months or
• The concerned paper is compulsory as a subject at graduation level or thereafter.

The candidate should be an officer with a maximum of five years of commissioned service in the Army/Navy/Air Force or a police officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police with a minimum of 5 years of service. OR The candidate should hold the rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with minimum five years service in paramilitary forces.

Experience

• Candidate should be an officer with at least five years of commissioned service in the Army/Navy/Air Force. Or
• The candidate must be a Deputy Superintendent level police officer with at least five years of service. Or
• The candidate must have at least five years' service with a rank equivalent to that of Registered Assistant Commandant in Paramilitary Forces.
