Service holding or empanelled to hold the post of Inspector General of Police in the Central Government and also possessing Bachelors Degree in Civil

Engineering, or

Officers of the Central Government or the State Govern­ment or Central Armed Police Forces including Sashastra Seema Bal or Central or State Public Works Departments or Military Engineering Services or General Reserve

Engineering Force -

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre; or

(ii) with two years' regular service in the level-13A in the Pay matrix; and

(b) (i) possessing Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University; and (ii) fifteen years' experience in execution of civil works.

Note-1: The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for

consideration for appointment by promotion.

Note-2: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately

preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Note-3: The upper age limit for appointment by depu­tation shall not be exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

For Ex-servicemen-Deputation/re-empIoyment :-

By deputation or re-employment of released or retired Armed Forces Officers who have held analogous post or equivalent rank in the engineering service.

Note:- The Armed Forces Officers due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year, shall also be considered and such officers shall be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release or superannuation from the Armed Forces and thereafter they may continue on re-employment.

(b) possessing Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University; and (ii) twelve years' experience in execution of Civil Works. Note-1: The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

Note-2: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

(ii) with five years regular service in the level-10 in the pay matrix; and

(b) (i) possessing Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University; and (ii) five years experience in execution of civil works. Note-1 : The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

Note-2 : The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other Orga­nization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Band-3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 in the parent cadre

or department; and

(b) possessing the qualifications and experience as below:-

(i) Bachelor Degree from a recognized University;

(ii) have completed the Basic and Advance Mountainee­ring Courses from a recognized institute; and

(c) should have five years practical experience with active participation in Mountaineering expedition.

(b) possessing the following educational qualification and experience.

Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Hus bandry from a recognized University or Institute with ten years of experience in the subject in a Government Organization.

(The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation/department of the Central Government shall not ordinarily exceed four years).

(The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation including short term contract shall not be exceeding 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of applications.) (The departmental officers who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appoint­ment on deputation. Re-employment.

Ex-servicemen holding analogous posts and experience of working in the field of Civil Engineering and possessing a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.

The maximum age limit for re-employment shall not exceed 56 years.

(The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having requisite experience and qualification would be considered. Such person would be given deputation term upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces, thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.)

During the period of deputation, the deputationist will be governed by SSB Act & Rules and other instructions issued from time to time by SSB for which necessary "option" will have to be exercised by the selected candidate.
