Chemical Engineering recruitment in National Institute of Technology Calicut on contract basis
Duration of Appointment : One Year (on contract basis) - extendable further on the basis of performance and availability of project fund. Name of the sponsoring Agency: Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
Name of Project : Development of bio-modified carbon paste electrode for the detection and removal of heavy metals from wastewater
Qualification : 1. M.Tech. Degree in Chemical Engineering or M.Tech. Degree in Electrochemical Engineering or M.Tech. Degree in Environmental Engineering with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
2. A minimum of one-year industrial/research experience is desirable.
Consolidated monthly Compensation/Fellowship : Rs.31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand only) per month (consolidated) .
The selection will be based on the performance on the interview, academic career and the need of the project.
A walk in interview will be held in the Department of Chemical Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 13.05.2019 at 10.00.m.
Eligible candidates may report on 13.05.2019, 10.00 a.m. at the Department of Chemical Engineering, NIT Calicut, NIT Campus (P.O),Calicut 673 601, for a walk-in-interview with Bio-data and original certificates & mark sheets. A set of copies of original certificates, mark sheets and bio-data should be handed over.

The provision of the Act have come into force with effect from 15th August,2007 as per Notification S.O.1384(E) dated 9th August, 2007 of the MHRD(Dept. of Higher Education),New Delhi. As per the provision of the said Act, this Institution runs on non profitable basis.
