Educational Qualification :
For Senior Personal Assistant : Graduate from a recognized university along with Diploma Certificate in Stenography / Shorthand in English with minimum speed of 100 words per minute in shorthand and 40 wpm typing speed on a computer.

For Judicial Assistant : Graduate from a recognized university along with Diploma Certificate in Stenography / Shorthand in English with minimum speed of 100 words per minute in shorthand and 40 wpm typing speed on a computer.

Age Limit : Minimum and Maximum age limit is 18 to 38 years.
Age Relaxation : 05 years for SC/ST Candidates, 03 years for OBC Candidates and 10 years for PWD Candidates.

Job Location : Gauhati (Assam)

Selection Process : Selection will be based on Written test, Viva voce & Interview.

The Association was formed on 13th day of June, 1948 with its erstwhile name under the Presidentship of Late Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed and Late K. Bora as its Secretary. The first meeting of the Association was held on 13.06.1948 attended by twenty nine leading Advocates of Gauhati who unanimously resolved to form this Association and constituted an Executive Committee amongst the Advocates present, to manage the affairs of the Association. Thereafter many renowned Advocates graced the Association and served for the benefit of the Association in the capacity of President and Secretary and as Executive Committee members.
