Qualification : 

1. Electronics & Comm. Engg: -  At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

Applicants must also fulfill ONE of the following additional requirements:

GATE Qualification:- Valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engg [Paper code: EC] 80% aggregate marks in EQ degree if done from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or National Institute of Technology (NIT). However, this option is not applicable for GAETEC posts.

2. Mechanical Engg: - At least First Class (condition of First Class does not apply to DST posts) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

Applicants must also fulfill ONE of the following additional requirements:- 

GATE Qualification: Valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering [Paper code: ME]. 80% aggregate marks in EQ degree if done from an IIT or NIT. However, this option is not applicable for GAETEC posts.

DRDO - 28 years for UR/EWS, 31 years for OBC (Non‐creamy layer),33 years for SC/ST

DST - 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC (Non‐creamy layer),40 years for SC/ST

ADA - 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 years for OBC (Non‐creamy layer),35 years for SC/ST

GAETEC - 28 years for UR/EWS, 31 years for OBC (Non‐creamy layer),33 years for SC/ST

GEN/EWS/OBC Male Candidates – Rs.100/-

SC/ST/PwD/Women Candidates – No Application Fee

Selection Process :  

i) The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the GATE scores and/or Descriptive Examination will be required to appear in the personal interview to be held at Delhi.  

ii) The offer of appointment to the selected candidates will be restricted to the number of vacancies in order of merit.  The appointment, however, will be subject to satisfying conditions like qualifying the Medical Examination prescribed for Group ‘A’ Technical posts of Govt. of India with Field Service liability and verification of character antecedents besides verification of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD(HH)/PwD(OH) certificate etc, wherever applicable.   

iii) Final result (customised for individual candidate) will be made available at RAC website.
