TORRY HARRIS PAPER ON 16th NOVEMBER AT WEST BENGAL

This is Piyali Dutta from Academy of Technology. I am persuing my career in MCA discipline.I am in 5th semester presently.I had appeared for Torry Harris campus recruitment test on 16th nov,2006.It,s a dream slot offer since starting package offered by the company is 3 lacs per annum. In totality 210 Students appeared from our college for the aptitude test,among them 70 cleared ist round. 35 students cleared GD round and finally 9 was selected after the technical+hr(combined) interview.I am one among those nine gems of our college.
Test pattern:
1st round: aptitude test
duration: 20 mins
no. of questions: 20
There were few number series,alphabet series,c lang output ,alligation problems,percentages,venn diagrams,profit n loss..
Basically there were 4 different sets of papers.. I am informing only about my question set.
Within an hour results were declared..70 among 210 cleared the aptitude round.
2nd round: GD
70 students were grouped into 10..hence there were 7 groups..eacg group was allotted roughly 10 mins for this round..
Few topics were:
Should saurav ganguly remain in the indian cricket team?
Comment on jessica lal murder case.
Should saddam hussain be hanged?
Should capital punishment be abolished?
...etc
Actually all topics were based on current affairs.. so go through news papers daily..

I am certified from IIM calcutta since I had undergone a training programme on " Network Management".I was asked 2 explain whatever I have learnt from IIM.
I was asked 2 write a c lang program : copy the contents of one file to another without using copy statement. Rename the destination file as _backup.. I had done it successfully
