Ou Admissions 2019

Osmania University offers various full-time and distance education courses at UG, PG, and research levels. The admission process generally begins in the month of April with the availability of application forms. The admissions are mainly granted on the basis of a common entrance test conducted by the Osmania University.

The candidates can download the application forms from the official website of the university. For OUCET, the application fee is INR 700 (INR 575 for SC/ST). Students can pay the application fee through any of the AP online or TS online centres. The academic process generally begins in June. The university gives 6% reservations to ST, 15% to SC, and 29% to OBC. 85% seats are reserved for local candidates.

Osmania University also offers MA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, MSW, M.Li.Sc & LL.M courses in various disciplines at PG level. Admission is offered on the basis of candidate’s performance in OUCET. OUCET is a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Application form can be filled online on payment of INR 700 (INR 575 for SC/ST/PH) by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking. Candidates have to pay an additional amount of INR 400 in order to apply for another subject.

For M.P.Ed., there will be 75 MCQs of 1 mark each. The remaining 25 marks will be awarded by Department of Physical education as per the performance of the candidate in the sports test.

For M.Sc., the test will have questions on Chemistry (40 marks), and an optional subject from Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology of 60 marks.

User Fact 1: Admission of a candidate into the same course which he/she has already completed either through Regular or distance mode from any recognized university is not allowed. Same provision is applicable for different specialization also.
