Education : Degree in Mech./Electrical Engineering fromGovt./AICTE approved institutes OR SectionB from Institution of engineers (India) withminimum 60 marks (50 for SC/ST/OBC)ORDiploma in Mech./Electrical Engineeringfrom Govt. recognized polytechnic approvedby AICTE or 5 years Apprenticeship fromIndian Railways Systems Technical Schools(IRTSs)
Experience : Work experience in 3 or more of the following will bepreferred1. Overhaul/rehabilitation/repair of railway rolling stockpreferably Diesel Electric locomotives.2. Project Management of Operation Maintenance ofDiesel Electric Locos.3. Management of Loco Leasing Project/contract.4. Feasibility study, facility, infrastructure, processplanning for setting up facilities for Maintenance ofDiesel Electric Locomotive.5. Repair/overhaul of majorcomponents/subassemblies of DE Locos andMachine and Plant.6. Diesel Loco Shed Management.7. Procurement of spares, Machinery Plant forRolling Stock Maintenance.8. Monitoring of shed outage, scheduling andineffective of DE Locos.9. Accident restoration and Maintenance of AccidentRelief Equipment.
