Salary for Job : Rs.37400- 67000+AGP Rs.10,000/-+Rs.800/- special allowance (for a term of four years)
Education : ) B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. (Forestry)/B.Tech. (Agril. Engineering)/ B.Sc.ii) Ph.D. in Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Nematology/Agrometeorology/ Forestry and Natural Resources/ Agril. Economics/ Soil and WaterEngineering.ORii) Ph.D Botany/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Zoology with published work on NaturalResources and/or Plant Health Management.iii) Atleast second division at Bachelor?s level and 65 marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of10.00 at Master?s level.iv) 12 years experience in research/teaching/extension in relevant discipline incollege/institution out of which, at least 5 years must be as Professor/ equivalent.ORTwelve years? experience in research/teaching/extension in relevant discipline incollege/institution out of which, at least 3 years must be as Professor/equivalentincluding one year of administrative experience as regular Head ofDepartment/equivalent and ability to organize and supervise the work of others.iii)iv) Matric level certificate of Punjabi language of Punjab School Education Board or anyother equivalent. (If not, the candidate is required to pass the same within one year ofappointment)
Experience : 1) Experience in Agronomy/Soil Science/Entomology/Plant Pathology/ Agrometeorology/Forestry and Natural Resources/ Soil and Water Engineering.2) Administrative experience.
