Salary for Job : RS- 15600-39100 in PB-3,GP6600/7600
Education : M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Design Engineering. OR Ph D in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Design Engineering (submitted)
Experience : Ph D in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Design Engineering. For M.E./M.Tech Minimum of 3 years experience in the relevant field. For Ph D NilThe selected candidate will be working in the RD of Non destructive testing and evaluation of advanced composite structures employing ultrasonics, thermal imaging and acoustic emission techniques. Candidates should have exposure to simulation of bulk and guided wave propagation using numerical techniques using commercially available FEM packages like Abaqus/NASTRAN.DesirableCandidates with Ph D (Engg) Degree preferred. Exposure to material characterization like determination of elastic constants using ultrasonic NDE techniques and characterisation of ultrasonic sensors. Knowledge of advanced NDE techniques applicable to composite structures.
