Srm Admission 2018

SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering (SRMJEEE) 2018 is a joint entrance examination for admission to B.Tech and M.Tech degree programmes offered in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad campuses of SRM Institute of Science and Technology Chennai, Amaravati campus of SRM University– AP and Sonepat Campus of SRM University– Haryana

(1) Nationality:

Resident Indian, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.
NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who has not taken the SRMJEEE must apply under International student category only.

(2) Qualifying Examination:

Faculty of Engineering and Technology:

Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology/ Biotechnology as major subjects in full-time regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS
International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology/ Biotechnology as major subjects in any International schools
In addition to the above, the candidate must satisfy the campus-specific and programme-specific eligibility criteria
Candidates who have NOT studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in 11th and 12th is eligible only for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering programmes.
Candidates who have completed 10th, as well as 12th in NIOS, are not considered for admission to any programmes of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) within India.

3) Age:

Undergraduate programmes – Only candidates who have born between 1st July 1997 and 1st July 2002 are eligible.
Postgraduate programmes – Only candidates who have born between 1st July 1993 and 1st July 1998

Srm University Admission 2018 Last Date

The last date to apply for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) 2019 is March 31. Candidates will be able to access the application correction window from April 5 to 10, 2019.

Counselling Procedure of SRMJEEE Counselling 2019

Firstly, the selected candidates will have to register for SRMJEEE 2019 counselling (SRM counselling) using their application number, rank, programme applied for and date of birth. After entering all of the essential information, the candidates will have to download the counselilng call letter.
Next, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 2,10,000 (inclusive of registration fee of Rs. 10,000 and part time of first year tuition fee) through online mode (E-Pay facility) or demand draft drawn in favour of “SRMIST” payable at Chennai. The fee has to be paid before the candidates report to the counselling venue.
The candidates will have to report for counselling according to the date and time allotted in the call letter. The allotment of dates and timing will be done according to the ranks of the candidates in the merit list. If the candidates fail to report at their allotted timing then they will be disqualified.

SRMJEEE Seat Allotment 2019

The seat allotment of SRMJEEE 2019 will be held in offline mode after document verification is done successfully. During the seat allotment process, candidates will be allotted seats based on their performance in the exam and availability of seat. That is, according to candidate’s rank in the merit list, the available engineering seats will be allotted. Once the seat is allotted to the candidates, they will have to confirm their admission by paying the remaining academic fees. In case, candidates fail to pay the tuition fees, it will lead to the automatic disqualification from the admission process. Candidates also, need to note that once the seats will be allotted they cannot do any alteration in it.

Key Points Related to SRMJEEE 2019 Seat Allotment

Seat allotment of SRMJEEE 2019 will be done after the successful verification of documents.
Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate ’s ranks, preferences and availability of seat.
After the provisional allotment letter is given to the candidates, they will have to pay the remaining balance tuition fee. Failure to pay the fee may lead to the disqualification of the candidates.
