Allahabad University 2019 Admission – UGAT Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for Allahabad University Admission 2019 UGAT are mentioned here. Candidates who wish to appear for the undergraduate programmes can check the eligibility criteria here.

• Candidates who wish to apply for the B.A, B.F.A and B.P.A programmes must make sure to have completed their Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.S.C. or an examination equivalent.

• Candidates who wish to appear for the B.Sc programmes must have completed their qualifying examination in the Science stream (Maths & Biology group respectively)

• The B.Sc (Home Science) stream is open only to female candidates who have completed their intermediate level in the science stream.

• Candidates interested to apply for the B.Com programmes must have completed their Class 12 in the Commerce stream.

• Candidates who wish to apply for the B.A (Music)/ B.P.A stream must have Music as one of the subject in their Intermediate level or they should have passed an equivalent examination in Music from a recognized Institution.

Allahabad University 2019 Admission For Subjects mentioned in Part I (List I-IV)

Subject Candidates

Applications can be given for only those subjects which a candidates has taken or appeared in for their qualifying examination.

Non-subject Candidates

• Candidates who wish to apply for a programme which they have not taken up during their graduation have the following subjects to choose from (a) Hindi (b) English (c) Med. & Mod. History (d) Ancient History (e) Political Science (f) Philosophy (g) Education.

• Candidates who wish to apply for the following subjects must fulfill the given eligibility criteria (a) Sociology (b) Psychology provided they have 1st Division in any stream of Graduation i.e. 60 percent marks.

• Economics subject provided they have Maths, Statistics at UG Level or had studied Economics upto B. A. – II Year.

Allahabad University Admission 2019 – Exam Centres

UGAT and PGAT Exam Centres 2019

• While the Online test will be conducted in the All India Level, the Offline Admissions test for UGAT and PGAT programmes such as M.A/ M.Sc./ M.Com./M.Tech. course will be conducted simultaneously at thirteen centres across the country such as Allahabad, Bareilly, Delhi, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Patna, Bhopal, Bangaluru, Kolkata, Srinagar, Agra and Kanpur.

• The complete address and other details related to the examination centres will be given in the Admit card.

• In case the number of registered candidates at any of the examination centres is less than 25 (Twenty five), then the registered candidates will be allotted the nearest centre.

Allahabad University Admission 2019 – Admit Card

• The admit card of Allahabad University 2019 Admission for both UGAT and PGAT programmes will be available in the online mode. The Allahabad University admit card for the UGAT courses will be available in the Second week of May 2019 while the admit card of Allahabad University for the PGAT courses will be available in the third week of May 2019.

• The admit card will contain the details related to the examination and examination centre.

• Candidates must make sure to check the details related to the exam centre such as name of exam centre and address carefully before downloading the admit card.

• Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre without which they will not be allowed to attend the exam.

Allahabad University Admission 2019 – PGAT Exam Pattern

• The First Fifty Questions will be from General Awareness, General English, General Hindi and Mental Ability which has to be answered by ever candidate irrespective of the subject they appear for.

• There will be Two Sets of 50 Questions related to Subjects which the candidate has

chosen.

• If a candidate has chosen only one subject then he/she will have to solve 100 questions which means 50 Compulsory and 50 of the subject in 90 minutes.

• Candidate who have chosen two subjects will have to solve 150 questions that is 50 compulsory questions 50 questions from one subject and 50 from the second subjects in 120 minutes.

• The test will contain Multiple Choice Questions for 2 marks each. 0.5 (Half) mark would be deducted for every incorrect answer.
