Education : (a) A Masters Degree with at least 55 marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherevergrading system is followed) by a recognized universityA relaxation of 5 may be provided at the Masters level for the Scheduled Castes/ScheduledTribes/Differently abled (Physically and visually differently abled) categories for the purpose of eligibilityand for assessing good academic record during recruitment.Relaxation of 5 from 55 to 50 is admissible to those who have obtained Masters degree prior to19th September, 1991.(b) A Ph.D. degree in concerned/relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence ofpublished work and research guidance.(c) Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of 15 years ofteaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.(d) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based PerformanceBased Appraisal System (PBAS) as set out in the University Grants Commission (Minimum Qualificationsfor Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and other Measures forthe Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2010.
