Education : Masters degree in Library Science / InformationScience/Documentation Science or an equivalentprofessional degree with at least 55 marks or itsequivalent grade. Persons holding analogous post orwith at least 8 years experience as anAssistant Librarian in the pre-revised scale of pay of8000-275-13500/-or PB-3 with GP 5400 abovepreferably in a Central Technical/Management Instituteor University. Evidence of innovative library servicelike implementation of RFID Technology, DigitalLibrary, published work and professional commitment.Desirable M.Phil/Ph.D. degree in appropriatediscipline. Knowledge of library computerization,evidence of innovative library service, professionalcommitment and relevant publications
