ALL THE BEST for your success in the exam. Myself Suresh thirunagari, BE METALLURGY from ANDHRA UNIVERSITY, i appeared for the exam on June 20th, 2010.The paper is of two sections. Section 1 is apptitude, general knowledge and Section 2 is all engg core subjects.
Paper is very simple if you prepare for one month before in General knowledge thier is no need of having good knowledge in the current affairs.
Most of the question are day to day routine matter few question are like
Q-1: Brain lara belongs to which cricket team?
Q-2: Most number of the votes are cast in which country?
Q-3: Who is the author of the book.(go through few indain authors books ...)?
Q-4: Rose is the national symbol of which country
And coming to the second section, if you have a thorough knowledge in the engg first year syallabus you will definately complete all the questions(75) with in 30 min, all the question are general computer knowledge should be their to complete few questions. Most of the question asked here are regarding the defects and also the results of the C program.
Mathematics: Degree & order questions,matrices and few simple questions.
Physics and Chemistry: Relations of resistance and power factor in the lens, emfs calculations in chemistry adsorption phenomonons and basics
Time management is very neccasary for getting good score. So once again i wish all the best, rock the test.
All your caliber will be used in clearing the final written test. Since most of the question are given from nuclear reactors and extractive metallurgy. Cut off is very less around 30 for metallurgy and rest of the other have more then 60
