Job Description 1. The appointments shall be purely on contract basis for a period mentioned in theadvertisement or till vacant posts are utilized for Direct recruitment for the post of AssistantProfessor, whichever is earlier. It shall be deemed to automatically come to an end onexpiry of the said contract period in case no further extension is granted by the competentauthority. However, subject to the condition mentioned in the advertisement, the period canbe extended depending upon availability of vacant post(s) and the requirement of theSchool.2. The appointment can be discontinued with one month notice by either side withoutassigning any reason. Also, the appointee shall not have any claim whatsoever for regularappointment on any position on the basis of contract appointment or for continuingcontractual appointment and may be terminated even when a regular post is lying vacant.3. The contract appointment shall be regulated as per the statute/ ordinance of the University.4. The candidate should not have been convicted by any court of law.5. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.6. If any declaration/ information furnished is found false or any material/ fact suppressedwillfully, the contractual engagement shall be terminated forthwith.7. The Envelope should be super scribed as Application for the post of Assistant Professor(Mathematics).8. No enquiry personal or in writing for recruitment shall be entertained.9. Legal disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of Delhi Courts.
Salary for Job : 15600- 39100 with AGP of Rs. 6000/
Education : Masters Degree with a first class or a equivalent grade in relevant discipline. For theCandidates not having qualification of M. Tech./MBA, a Doctoral Degree is a must for thepost of Assistant Professor. Regarding NET, UGC guidelines shall be followed whereverapplicable from time to time.
