Job Description ESIC Medical College PGIMSR, K.K. Nagar, Chennai proposes to fill up the teachingfaculty i .e. Associate Professor, Paediatrics on contractual basis through walk-ininterviewWALK IN INTERVIEW ON 23.11.2015
Salary for Job : (PB-3+GP 7600/-+NPA)
Education : A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-IIof the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educationalqualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditionsstipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Act.A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery)or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline.
Experience : Four years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned speciality in arecognised medical college with minimum of two research publications in indexed/nationaljournals provided that these research publications are published/accepted for publications inthe Journals by the National Associations/Societies of the respective specialities as the FirstAuthor. Further provided that the requirement of 2 research publications for promotion tothe post of Associate Professor should be fulfilled with 2 research publications must bepublished during the tenure of the Assistant Professor. DNB qualified candidate is working as Assistant Professor in a MCIrecognized Medical College/Central Institute, he/she would require one more year ofteaching/research experience to be promoted as Associate Professor over above theminimum time frame for MD/MS candidate.
