Question Types → BODMAS Rule, Approximation, Decimals, Fractions, Surds & Indices, Percentages, etc.

(2) Average
Weightage → 1 – 2 Questions
Easy to Solve, Less Time Consuming, High Accuracy Possible.
Question Types → Average Weight/Height/Age/Marks, Average Money Expenditure, Average Temperature, etc. However, the concept remains simple. We have to use a single formula i.e. Average = Sum of Quantities/Number of Quantities

Weightage → 0 – 1 Question
Easy to Solve, Less Time Consuming, High Accuracy Possible.
Question Types → Calculation-oriented basic percentage.

(4) Ratio and Proportion
Weightage → 1 – 3 Questions
Easy to Solve, Less Time Consuming, High Accuracy Possible.
Question Types → Simple Ratios, Compound Ratios, Third/Fourth Proportion, Componendo and Dividendo, Direct & Indirect Proportions.

(5) Data Interpretation
Weightage → 13 – 15 Questions (2 – 3 sets)

Question Types → Line Graphs, Bar Graphs, Pie Charts, Tables, Miscellaneous Infographics, Missing Data Type Caselets.

Weightage → 1 – 2 Questions

Question Types → Area/Volume of Square, Rectangle, Trapezium, Parallelogram, Rhombus, Circle, Semicircle, Triangle, Cone, Cylinder, Cube, Cuboid. Also, Moulding from one shape to another etc.

(7) Quadratic Equations
Weightage → 4 – 5 Questions (Comparison of 2 variables), 0-1 questions within other topics such as age, algebraic equations, etc.

(8) Interest
Weightage → 2 – 3 Questions
Scoring, Easy if Formulas & Proper Steps Followed, Moderately Time Consuming.

(9) Linear Equations in One, Two or More Variables
Weight-age → 1 – 2 Questions

| The IBPS SO Mains was held on 28th January 2018 to recruit Specialist Officers as Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer, and Rajbhasha Adhikari. IBPS SO Mains Exam concluded successfully. The IBPS Specialist Officer Result 2018 will be declared in three stages – Prelims, Mains and Interview. To be eligible to appear for IBPS Specialist Officer 2018 Interview, the candidates must score qualifying marks in each of the sections in IBPS Specialist Officer Mains exam. IBPS Specialist Officer Mains Result will be announced in February 2018. The third stage of the selection process for IBPS SO 2018 recruitment will be the interview round. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Main examination for CRP-VII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centers. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorized IBPS website www.ibps.in IBPS Specialist Officer Result (final) will be declared in April 2018. The final score of candidates for provisional allotment as Specialist Officers in participating organizations will be calculated on the basis of marks scored in IBPS SO main examination and interview.

IBPS released the Score Card of Specialist Officer Recruitment for the candidates shortlisted for the Interview Phase. All the candidates who had appeared for IBPS  SO interview were eagerly waiting for their scorecard after the result was declared.
