Guidelines For GATE Exam 2021 – Released, These Rules Have To Be Followed

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) has released the Guidelines for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2021). This time the Guidelines have been uploaded on the official website as ‘Guideline Videos

This year, the candidates appearing for the exam can see the date and time of their examination by visiting gate.iitb.ac.in. The GATE 2021 exam will be computer based. This time the exam is scheduled to take place in 2 shifts between 5 and 14 February. GATE exam 2021 is to be held on February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14. In which the exam for the first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the exam for the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.

A total of 27 subjects will be tested This time IIT Bombay has introduced two new subjects Environmental Science and Engineering and Humanities and Social Sciences. This time the exam will be for a total of 27 subjects. These guidelines have to be followed In order to avoid congestion at the examination center in view of the Karona epidemic this time, the reporting time for the candidates has been given one hour before the commencement of the examination. While standing at the entry gate one has to follow the queues and floor marks.

One has to come to the examination hall one by one. With the admit card, candidates are required to carry a valid photo identity card. Candidates will be allowed to carry face masks, globs, personal hand sanitizer, pens, admit cards, personal transparent water bottle and other documents related to the exam. All the candidates will have to maintain social distancing while entering the examination center or while exiting the center after the exam is over. Those candidates who have a temperature above 99.4 degrees will be allowed to sit in a separate room and give paper.
