What is TMBU ?
The Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, also known as Bhagalpur University, is a premier institution for providing higher education in the state of Bihar. The university is situated in Bhagalpur town of Bihar State in India and is named after famous freedom fighter Tilka Manjhi. Established on 12 July 1960, it is a public university sprawled within 264 acres of lush green campus ideal for teaching and learning.

Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (T M Bhagalpur University) offers degree and diploma courses to candidates. Courses offered are in the streams of Humanities & Social Sciences, IT & Software, Accounting & Commerce, Science, Business & Management Studies, Law, Teaching & Education, and Arts (Fine/ Visual/ Performing).
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses
Candidates who have passed Standard XII in 10+2 pattern from a recognised board meet T M Bhagalpur University eligibility criteria for UG course admissions. Candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognised board fulfil T M Bhagalpur University eligibility criteria for PG course admissions.
Note: Aspirants are advised to go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by T M Bhagalpur University for the course in which they wish to secure admission.
Admission Process for UG & PG Courses
T M Bhagalpur University admission process differs according to the course a candidate is applying for.
However, for admission in PG Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) course, the university conducts an entrance exam followed by a viva-voce round.
Also, for B Ed course admissions, the university conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET).
Application Process for UG & PG Courses
Candidates can apply at T M Bhagalpur University in online as well as offline mode depending on the course they are applying for. For online applications, candidates can fill the form on the official website of the university. For offline Applications, candidates can download or purchase the form in person as prescribed by the university.
