Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Deputy Director (Airworthiness): Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university with at least 7 years of experience in aviation maintenance, inspection, or airworthiness certification.
  • Assistant Director (Operations): Graduation in Engineering or Science with valid pilot licenses and 5 years of aviation experience.
  • Senior Airworthiness Officer: Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Flight Operations Inspector: Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a minimum of 1,500 hours of flight experience on commercial aircraft.
  • Air Safety Officer: Degree in Engineering or Science with specialization in Aviation Safety Management.

Age Limit (as on 10 February 2026):

  • Maximum Age: 56 years (including deputation/contract basis)
  • Age relaxation applicable as per government norms.

Pay and Benefits

  • Level 11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700) and Level 12 (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200) depending on the post.
  • Dearness Allowance, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other central government benefits applicable.
  • Medical facilities, pension benefits (as per NPS), and leave encashment.

Selection Process
