About the Role
DGCA invites applications from experienced aviation and engineering professionals for various technical and administrative positions. These roles are critical in ensuring safety oversight, certification, and operational compliance of airlines and aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise airworthiness inspections and licensing processes.
- Evaluate safety reports, accidents, and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with ICAO and DGCA regulations.
- Oversee audits of aviation operators and training organisations.
- Manage technical teams and coordinate with government agencies.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university.
Experience:
At least 5–10 years in aviation inspection, engineering, or aircraft maintenance.
Age Limit:
Maximum 56 years (relaxations applicable for departmental and government candidates).
Pay and Benefits
- Level 10–13 pay matrix with allowances under the 7th CPC.
- Benefits include DA, HRA, transport, medical facilities, and pension as per Central Government rules.
- Deputation/contract basis depending on the role and eligibility.
Selection Process
