eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) with at least 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university/institution in the relevant discipline.
GATE Requirement: Valid GATE score in GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026. Candidates must apply through their respective GATE registration number.
Age Limit: Maximum age 26 years as on 30 April 2025 (age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per government norms).

Work on the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of nuclear power reactors and auxiliary systems.
Monitor plant performance, perform technical analyses, and support system upgrades.

training and placement
Selected candidates will undergo one-year intensive training at NPCIL training centers. Upon successful completion, they will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C in Level 10 (₹56,100) of the 7th CPC pay matrix.

Stipend during training: ₹55,000 per month.
One-time book allowance of ₹18,000.
