About the Role
NHAI is seeking qualified engineers and technical professionals for multiple managerial roles in project implementation, construction, and highway development. The recruitment aims to strengthen technical oversight and expedite highway projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee planning, execution, and maintenance of highway projects.
Monitor contractors and consultants for project performance.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Conduct inspections, technical audits, and feasibility evaluations.
Manage project reports and coordinate with regional offices and the Ministry.
Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification:
Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university or institute. Experience:
For Manager (Technical) – Minimum 3 years’ experience in project planning, design, or construction.
For Deputy Manager (Technical) – GATE 2024 qualified candidates in Civil Engineering discipline. Age Limit:
Maximum 56 years (for deputation) or as per recruitment notice.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Level 10–12 (as per 7th CPC).
Additional allowances: DA, HRA, Transport, and medical benefits.
Deputation/Direct recruitment basis depending on the post.
Selection Process
For Deputy Manager: Shortlisting based on GATE 2024 score in Civil Engineering.
For Manager: Interview and evaluation of experience record.
