About the Recruitment
BHEL has announced its 2025 recruitment drive for Engineer Trainee and Supervisor Trainee posts in various engineering disciplines. Discipline-Wise Vacancies
- Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) – 120 Posts
- Engineer Trainee (Electrical) – 100 Posts

- Engineer Trainee (Electronics) – 30 Posts
- Supervisor Trainee (Finance/HR/Stores) – 80 Posts

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Engineer Trainee: Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, or related disciplines from a recognised university with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
- Supervisor Trainee: Full-time Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, HR, or Management.
- Final-year students awaiting results can also apply, provided proof of qualification is submitted before joining.
Age Limit:
- Engineer Trainee: 27 years (29 years for candidates with Master’s degree).
- Supervisor Trainee: 27 years.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and as per government rules for PwBD.
Pay and Benefits
- Engineer Trainees will receive a basic pay of ₹50,000 during training and will be absorbed in the E1 grade (₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000) after successful completion.
- Supervisor Trainees will start with a basic pay of ₹33,500 and be placed in S1 grade (₹33,500 – ₹1,20,000).
- Additional benefits include DA, HRA, medical coverage, provident fund, performance bonuses, and pension scheme under NPS.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT) covering technical and aptitude topics.
- Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.
- Final merit list prepared based on CBT and interview performance.
- Document verification and medical examination before final appointment.

- Engineer Trainee: ₹800 (General/OBC/EWS); ₹250 (SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen).
- Supervisor Trainee: ₹500 (General/OBC/EWS); ₹150 (SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen).

Training and Placement
