Position: Analyst / Sr Analyst
Qualification: Any Graduate
Receive CDD requests from the CDD Team Lead and reviewing the requirements.
Perform CDD on new and existing counterparties and enhanced due diligence where applicable.
Undertake sanction and PEP screening on new and existing counterparties to determine if there are any PEPs/Sanction/AML risks.
Conducting investigations on counterparties for any adverse information, reputational risk issues, inappropriate practices or behaviour on the part of the counterparty.
Conducting risk assessments and applying risk categories to new counterpartiesRe-categorising risk ratings for existing counterparties where necessary.
Obtain background information on clients through on-line research and other relevant sources
Liaise with front office staff and on occasion directly with clients, to obtain any outstanding CDD documentation/informationReview CDD information held on existing clients to identify shortfalls and obtain missing documentation
Record account status and approval information in the appropriate databases/spreadsheets
Update the PEP register and complete PEP forms ensuring all PEP relationships are approved by the relevant persons
Conducting ad hoc projects when requiredKey contacts/working relationships:
