Karnataka Polytechnic Exam Admit Card 2018

Firstly, enter the Directorate’s official web address i.e. “dte.kar.nic.in” 

  • On the left-hand side of the homepage, locate the Students’ corner.
  • Find the useful link from the listed ones to get your hall ticket.
  • Follow it, and enter your enrollment number at the students’ login page.
  • Press the submit button.
  • Download the ticket and get it printed.

Ensure your enrolment number and note all the necessary instructions.


Admissions to Diploma Program

The common admission to 1st year Diploma for Government / Aided Polytechnics and for private polytechnics who have surrendred their seats will be conducted by Department Of Technical Education (DTE) in co-ordination with Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore(KEA) and National Informatics Centre(NIC). The admission process usually starts with the issue of the notification for admission by the Directorate in leading news papers of the State. The advertisement generally appears in and around the dates of announcement of Secondary School Leaving Certificate results conducted by the State Govt. It may be some time in the last week of April or First week of May or around that period.

Eiligibilty

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • For Technical(Engineering) Courses:should have passed Karnataka S.S.L.C or equivalent examination by securing 35% marks in aggregate.
  • For Non-technical (Non-Engineering)Courses: a) Commercial Practice and Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology / Modern office Management Should have passed Karnataka S.S.L.C or Equivalent Examination by securing 35% marks in aggregate. b) Library Science and Information Management Should have passed Karnataka P.U.C-II or Equivalent examination by securing 35% marks in aggregate.
  • For both Engineering & Non-Engineering, the candidate should have completed atleast five full academic years of study in Karnataka between 1st Standard and qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who have passed the 10th Standard Exam conducted by CBSE/ICSE and other states 10th Standard candidates shall produce Eligibility Certificates obtained from the Secretary, Board of Technical Examinations, Palace Road, Bangalore – 560 001 at the time of document verification & online application submission process.

Examination Fee Structure

Duplicate Diploma Certificate will be issued to the candidate on production of following documents.

  • Required fees receipt paid in Government/Aided Polytechnic Treasury.
  • Matter printed on Rs. 20-00 Stamp Paper.
  • Original police complaint lodged in the area where Diploma Certificate was lost/stolen.
  • Announcement in local dailies stating the loss of Diploma Certificates.
  • Application duly signed by candidate and Principal.

Note : The candidates become eligible for the issue of duplicate Diploma Certificate after a lapse of 30 days from the date of Police Complaint/announcement in local daily.
