About the Role
OFDR is inviting skilled and semi-skilled workers to apply for the post of Danger Building Worker (DBW) on a contract basis. This position is crucial in handling explosive materials, manufacturing processes, and maintaining strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Work in ammunition and explosive handling sections under controlled safety protocols.
Assist in loading, mixing, and assembling ammunition components.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of work areas.
Operate tools and machines used in the production process.
Follow all safety and environmental guidelines during factory operations.
Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification: 10th Pass with National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT in relevant trades. Experience: Prior experience in explosives or ammunition manufacturing will be preferred. Age Limit: 18–35 years as on 1 November 2025 (age relaxation as per government rules).
Pay and Benefits
Basic Pay: ₹19,900 per month plus DA and other allowances.
Eligible for medical, canteen, and uniform benefits as per factory rules.
Appointment initially on contract, likely to be extended based on performance.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit and trade test performance. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and medical examination before final appointment.
