UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission Recruitment for 701 posts of Forest Inspector.
According to the recruitment notification, this recruitment will be done in the Forest and Wildlife Department of the state. The total number of vacancies is 701 in which there are 288 posts for unreserved category, 168 for SC, 20 for ST and 163 for OBC.

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for Forest Inspector Recruitment Examination (Main). Online applications for this recruitment of UPSSSC have started from 17 October 2022 and the last date of application has been fixed as 6 November 2022. According to the recruitment notification released by UPSSSC on Monday, this recruitment will be done in the Forest and Wildlife Department of the state. The total number of vacancies is 701 in which there are 288 posts for unreserved category, 168 for SC, 20 for ST and 163 for OBC. Along with this 70 posts will be reserved for EWS candidates. After appointment to the post of Forest Inspector, the pay scale will be Rs 5200 - 20200 and grade pay will be Rs 2800. At the same time, according to the pay matrix of the 7th Pay Commission, the salary will be up to Rs 92200 - 92300. See further the main conditions of the application-

Application Process 

Only PET 2021 pass candidates can apply in UPSSSC Forest Inspector Recruitment. For this it is necessary that the candidate should apply only after carefully reading the application eligibility given in the recruitment advertisement. To apply online, candidates will have to register themselves with the PET 2021 score on the Commission's website upsssc.gov.in. Applications will be accepted online only. Applications will not be accepted after 6 November 2022. Candidates will be given a chance to submit the application or deposit the application fee by 13 November 2022 with the prescribed late fee. It is mandatory for EWS candidates to hold EWS certificate for the financial year 2022-23 before the last date of application.

Selection for Forest Inspector Recruitment Main Exam-

Based on the score of PET 2021, the qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination. The candidates who obtain the normalized score of zero or less in PET 2021 will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

It is necessary to hold a bachelors degree in Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Forestry or Agriculture or Forestry and Environmental Science from a recognized University. Along with this, the candidate should have experience of minimum two years service in Territorial Army or have obtained B certificate of NCC.

Physical parameter - Height- 163 cms (Male) and 154 cms for female.
Chest - 84 cms (Male) and 79 cms for female. Along with this, an expansion of 5 cm is necessary.
