UPHESC Recruitment: Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission has invited applications for the recruitment of 917 Assistant Professor posts in various disciplines. Eligible candidates should apply from the website uphesc.org from July 9.
UPHESC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2022
Applications will start from Saturday for the recruitment of 917 Assistant Professor posts under advertisement number 51 in 321 non-government aided colleges of the state. In the meeting of Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission held on Thursday, it has been decided to start new recruitment. According to the commission's secretary Dayanand Prasad, the registration for the online application will start on the website uphesc51.com and uphesc.org from Saturday, July 9, 2022.
Fees can also be deposited from Saturday. The last date for registration and fee submission is 7th and 8th August 2022 respectively. The last date for online submission of completely filled application forms is August 10. The detailed details are available on the Commission's website uphesc.org.
Hindi has maximum 80 posts in 37 subjects:
In the requisition for 37 subjects sent by the Directorate of Higher Education for advertisement number 51, maximum 80 posts are of Hindi. After that there are 75 posts of B.Ed, 70 of Chemistry, 62 of English and 60 of Economics. Commerce 49, Botany 48, Geography 47, Political Science 44, Sanskrit 43, Sociology 42, Physics 40, Zoology 33, History and Pedagogy 25-25, Mathematics 24, Military Science 21, Ancient History 19, Psychology 17, Physical Education 13, Home science, Philosophy and Music singing ten, Painting nine, Law and Urdu eight eight, Horticulture, Anthropology and Music Sitar four each, Agricultural economics and Music tabla three each, Statistics two and Asian culture has a position. There are 756 posts of assistant professors in co-educational colleges and 161 in women's colleges.
Recruitment of advertisement number 50 being done in record time
Prayagraj. The Higher Education Service Commission is on the way to complete the recruitment of Advertisement No. 50 in a record time. The recruitment started on 25 February 2021 for the 2002 posts of 47 subjects. Interview started on 9th March 2022. So far the result of 1745 posts under 41 subjects has been declared. The results of the remaining five subjects will be released by July 19. A petition is pending in the High Court regarding the result of the law subject.

Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission is a corporate body which started working on November 1, 1982. Currently there is a provision of appointing six extra members beside HOD in the commission. Tenure of HOD is assigned for 5 years or 68 year age (whichever is first) whereas tenure of other members is assigned for 5 years or 65 year age (whichever is first). Appointment of honorable Chairman and members is full-time.
