Eligibility Criteria for Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Recruitment 2021

Educational Qualification

    Agricultural Officer (Extension) – A Bachelor degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture)
    Assistant Director of Horticulture – Must possess a degree in M.Sc., Horticulture (or) M.Sc., Fruit Science (or) M.Sc., Floriculture and Landscaping (or) M.Sc., Vegetable Science (or) M.Sc., Spices / Plantation and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants
    Horticultural Officer – Must possess a degree in B.Sc., Horticulture.
    Assistant Agricultural Officer – Must have passed Higher Secondary (plus two) Examination and Must possess two years Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized university.
    Assistant Horticultural Officer – A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination and A pass in the two years Diploma course in Horticulture in the Institutions.

TNPSC Age Limit:

    Agricultural Officer (Extension), Assistant Director of Horticulture & Horticultural Officer: Less than 30 years.
    Assistant Agricultural Officer & Assistant Horticultural Officer: 18 to 30 years.

Application Fee:

    Agricultural Officer (Extension), Assistant Director of Horticulture & Horticultural Officer: One-Time Registration Fee – Rs. 150+ Examination Fee – Rs. 200.
    Assistant Agricultural Officer & Assistant Horticultural Officer: One-Time Registration Fee – Rs. 150+ Examination Fee –Rs. 100.

TNPSC Salary Structure:

    Agricultural Officer (Extension) – Rs.37700 – 119500 (Level 20) (Revised scale)
    Assistant Director of Horticulture – Rs.56100 – 177500 (Level 22) (Revised Scale)
    Horticultural Officer – Rs.37700-119500 (Level 20) (Revised Scale)
    Assistant Agricultural Officer – Rs.20600-65500 (Level-10) (Revised Scale)
