Job Information
Applications are invited for Four posts of Upper Division Clerk on deputation basis
in the Pay level-4 (Rs. 25500-81100) in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC, pre-revised
pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- Plus Grade pay Rs. 2400/- General Central Service,
Group-C, Ministerial at various Regional Fodder Stations i.e. one post each at
Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Suratgarh (Rajasthan), Hisar (Haryana) and Kalyani (West
Bengal) respectively.
The candidates are advised to apply specifically for the place where they want to work
in above mentioned RFS's locations.
The posts are to be filled on Deputation basis amongst the officers of Central
Government: (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis. or (ii) with eight years
regular service in the grade of Lower Division Clerk or equivalent in pay level-2 (Grade
Pay of Rs.1900).
Application of only such candidates will be considered which are routed through
proper channel and are accompanied by: (i) Duly filled application in prescribed
format, (ii) Photo copies of ACRs for last five years duly attested on each page.

This station is one among the seven Regional Station established during 1973 by the Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry Dairying and Fisheries to cater the needs of the farmers in the States/Union Territories of Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands in respect of fodder development work.
The main idea behind the establishment of such Regional Stations in different agro-climatic regions of India is to have close link with Research Institutions/Universities and to improve quality of extension work being carried out in the States based on the findings of the Universities/Institutions.
