Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/walkin interview. Once a candidate is selected they will be placed as Young Professional II in NRRI.
Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. in Botany / Agronomy / Soil Science / Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry / Environmental Science / Plant Physiology / Geology / Remote sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics Agricultural Engineering / Pathology / Entomology / Seed technology. Dr. H. Pathak, Director, ICAR-NRRI has been awarded the Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Award, the highest individual award of ICAR for his outstanding research in the field of climate change, nutrient management and simulation of agricultural processes. Dr. Krishnendu Chattopadhyay and his team (Dr. Srigopal Sharma, Mr. Torit Baran Bagchi, Dr. Avijit Das and Mr. Bishnu Charan Marndi) received Nanaji Deshmukh Award for Outstanding Interdisciplinary Team Research in Agricultural and Allied Sciences in the discipline of Crop Science and Horticulture. This recognition is mainly due to release and dissemination of the first high protein (10.3%) high yielding rice variety of India, CR Dhan 310 as well as nutrient rich rice variety Mukul (CR Dhan 311) with high protein (10.1%) and moderately high level of zinc content (20 ppm). Shri Sunil Kumar Das, Finance & Accounts Officer has been awarded the Cash Award Scheme for Administrative category. The performance of Shri Das with regard to utilization of budget, managing the activities of pension cell of eastern region, ensuring transparency by following cashless transactions, procuring goods through GeM and CPPP, conducting various training programmes, extending support to ICAR and its units on PFMS, validation of Annual Account, etc
