NIOH - Experience : Freshers

The following posts are to be filled up through walk in written test/lnterview under following time bound research projects at ICMR-National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) Ahmedabad. The post is purely temporary, ad- hoc & contractual basis and co-terminus with project.

a. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

c. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in (Chemistry / Entomology / Forensic Science / Environmental Science / Life Science) with any one of the following: 
a). Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests — CSIR-UGC, NET,  including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. 
B). The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, Ilsc, IISER, etc.

d. Desirable Qualification: 

(i) Experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 or 17025:2017 (NABL) 
(ii) Experience in pesticide residue analysis in biological and environmental samples 
(iii) Handling sophisticated Analytical instruments Viz., GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS(iv) Working knowledge of computer

e. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month +24% HRA

f. Job Requirement: Sample collection, analysis of pesticide residues by chromatography techniques (GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS). Preparation of analytical reports.

Upper age limit is 28 Years on the date of interview.
