Educational Qualifications:
Project Assistant: Graduate Degree in Life Science subjects from a recognized university with three years' work experience from a recognized institution OR Master's degree in Life Science subjects.

Project Technician-III: 12th pass in Science subjects AND two years' diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician OR One year DMLT plus one year required experience from a recognized organization OR Two years' field/Laboratory experience.

Project Technician-I: High School* or equivalent WITH one-year experience in hospital/laboratory/health system/community /field work from a Government Organization or recognized Institution.

Statistical Assistant: Graduate Degree in Science subjects with Statistics as one of the subject at degree level from a recognized university with three years' work experience from a recognized institution OR Master's degree in Science with Statistics as one of the subject.

Data Entry Operator (DEO): Intermediate or 12th pass from recognized board. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (KDPH) on computer.

Salary :16000-31000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 30 Years.

Application Fee: An application fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for the candidates of the reserve categories to be paid in the form of Bank DD in the name of Director, ABV IIITM Gwalior.

National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) was established in 1977 as Malaria Research Center, which was renamed as National Institute of Malaria Research from November 2005. NIMR is one of the institutes of the Indian Council of Medical Research (an autonomous body under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India).

The main goal of the institute is to find short term and long term solutions to the problems of malaria through basic, applied and operational field research. The institute also plays a key role in the development of manpower resource through training/workshops and transfer of technology. The main areas of research carried out over the years are mosquito fauna surveys, development of genetic and molecular markers for important malaria vectors and parasites, field studies to test biological variations between sibling species, detection of major vectors as species complexes Cytotaxonomic studies, monitoring of insecticide resistance through space and time, preparation of action plans etc. to provide important inputs. Field evaluation of new insecticides, bio-larvicides, insecticide impregnated bed nets, drugs and parasite diagnostic kits were provided for innovative management of malaria control. Many of these have found a place in the National Malaria Control Program.
