Manager/Senior Domain Expert/Domain Expert/Domain Analyst At Job Opporunity At National Centre for Cell Science

Project: 'Manav - Human Atlas Initiative'

Name of the Position: Manager -Scientific Data Quality Assurance and Validation

Number of Posts: One Post

Essential Qualification & Experience: 1st Class MTech/MD/MVSc/MPharm/MBiotech or Ph.D in Life Sciences/Biological Sciences with original work as evidenced by patents or publications.

Desirable: Evidence of leadership with about 10 years' experience in R & D. The person should have excellent understanding of Science in general and Life sciences in particular and should preferably come with strong managerial experience.

Upper Age limit: 50 Years

Total Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 1,50,000-(Fixed)

Name of the Position: Senior Domain Expert

Number of Posts: Two Posts

Essential Qualification & Experience: 1st Class MTech/MD/MVSc/MPhram/MBiotech or Ph.D in Life Sciences/Biological Sciences with original work as evidenced by patents or publications.

Desirable: Evidence of leadership with about 8 years' experience in R & D. He/She would have desirable experience in the field of Bioinformatics/Systems Biology/Structural Biology/Computational Biology/Genetics /Epigenetics/ Neurobiology. He/She is expected to have expertise in integrative analysis and predictive modeling. He/She should have experience with data analysis and data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, D3, Python and R.

Upper Age limit: 45 Years

Total Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 1,00,000-(Fixed)

Name of the Position: Domain Expert

Number of Posts: Three Posts

Essential Qualification & Experience: 1st Class MTech/MD/MVSc/MPharm/MBiotech with 3 years' experience in relevant field or Ph.D in Life Sciences/Biological Sciences with about I year of research experience in relevant field.

Desirable: He/She would have desirable experience working in the area of Bioinformatics/Programmer/ Biochemistry/Structural Biology/Biophysies/Genetics/Epigeneties/Neurobiology. Should have good experience in tools/programmes like Perl, Python, R and Linux.

Upper Age limit: 35 Years

Total Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 75,000-(Fixed)

Name of the Position: Domain Analyst

Number of Posts: Seven Posts

Essential Qualification & Experience: MVSc/M.Pharin/ME/M.Tech with 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after securing one of the Post graduate degrees mentioned in essential qualifications with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal OR Ph.D in Life Sciences or Biological Sciences/MD/MS/MDS with 0-1 year research experience in relevant field.

Desirable: He/She would have desirable experience working in the area of Bioipformatics/Programmer/ Biochemistry/Structural Biology/Biophysics/Genetics/Epigenetics/Neurobiology. Should have good experience in Peri, Python, R and Linux.

Upper Age limit: 35 Years

Total Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 50,000-(Fixed)
