- TGT ENGLISH
Eligibility : (a). B A Degree studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% marks with relevant subject from recognized institution/university. (b). Bachelor of Education studied as a regular course with at least 50% marks from recognized institution/University (c). Should have studied the relevant subject at Senior Secondary also. (d). Preference will be given to candidates having regular Masters’ Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university and/or experience of teaching relevant subject in reputed public schools.
- TGTs - (Hindi & Sanskrit)
Eligibility : (a) BA Degree studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% marks with relevant subject from a recognized institution/university. (b) Bachelor of Education in relevant subject as a regular course and qualified with at least 50% marks from recognized institution/University. (c) Should have studied the relevant subject at Senior Secondary also. (d) Age limit should be as per respective State Government rule for the equivalent post in the Government schools (relaxable for experienced candidates). (e) Preference will be given to candidates having regular Masters’ Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university and/or experience of teaching relevant subject in reputed public schools.

Bachelor of Education studied as a regular course with at least 50% marks from recognized institution/University (c). Should have studied the relevant subject at Senior Secondary also. (d). - PRT - Physical Education
Eligibility : a) Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE or B.P.Ed) with at least 60% marks from recognized institution/University. b) Minimum experience of three years in a recognized school (experience in CBSE schools preferable).

Eligibility : (a). B A/B Sc Degree studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% marks with relevant subject from recognized institution/university. (b). Bachelor of Education studied as a regular course with at least 50% marks from recognized institution/University (c). Should have studied the relevant subject at Senior Secondary also. (d). Eligibility : (a). Graduate Degree in areas such as Graduate/Post Graduate in psychology OR Post Graduate in Child Development studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% marks with relevant subject from recognized institution/university. (b). Bachelor of Education studied as a regular course with at least 50% marks from recognized institution/University (c). Should have studied the relevant subject at Senior Secondary also. (d). Preference will be given to candidates having regular Masters’ Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university and/or experience of teaching relevant subject in reputed public schools.
- SPECIAL EDUCATOR
Eligibility : a) Graduate/Post Graduate in Child Development. b) Graduate in Psychology and B.Ed./Diploma in Special Education. c) Minimum experience of three years in a recognized school (experience in CBSE schools preferable).

The school was named Naval Primary School, and situated on navy grounds in Chanakyapuri with students aged from nursery to Class III. Mrs. A.K. Chatterjee, wife of the then Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral (later Admiral) Chatterjee, was the first principal of the school, leading a small group of lady teachers Mrs. Narasimhan was vice-principal. Other pioneer teachers included Mrs. Krishnaswamy and Mrs. Rana. The teachers were drawn from the ranks of NOWA (the Naval Officers Wives Association) and from the ranks of the surrounding communities.
Classes were small, with the seniormost class in 1966, Class IV, with seven students enrolled at the beginning of 1966. The student body was drawn from the Governmental housing colonies of Satya Marg, Vinay Marg, Sarojini Nagar and Nauroji Nagar. The curriculum followed the standard curriculum for the Senior Cambridge/Indian Schools Certificate schools, essentially the same as the O level track primary school curriculum in the UK. Subjects included English, Hindi, Arithmetic, Geography, History, Nature Studies and Moral Science, with senior classes adding Civics, Geometry and Algebra to the curriculum in Class V.
The school occupied the main building of the Naval Grounds in Chanakyapuri, which was adjacent to junior officers flats. In the winter months preceding Republic Day (26 January) the grounds also accommodated a large tented encampment of Navy ratings, who used the school football grounds to rehearse for the Republic Day parade.
Notable former pupils include business tycoon Vivek Prabhakar (creator Chumbak), actress former Miss India Neha Dhupia, bollywood actor Siddharth Malhotra , Cinematographer Neha Parti , famous Indian Businessman Aryan, Music director Raghav sachar and Casting director Anmol Ahuja.
