Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade) /31 Posts

Qualification:
(a) Matriculation or equivalent
(b) Well versed with driving and maint of heavy vehicles.
(c) Must possess the authorised civil driving license for heavy vehicle.

Age Limit for:
(a) Ex-Servicemen. Resultant age after deducting period of service from actual age should not exceed prescribed age limit by more than 3 years. Calculation of age shall be as per the category for which the application has been made. No physical test will be conducted for Ex-Servicemen. On selection, Ex-Servicemen will be adjusted against respective category i.e Gen/SC/OBC.

(b ) Meritorious Sports Persons. The age limit is 18 to 30 yrs for UR, 18 to 33 yrs for OBC and 18 to 35 yrs for SC category. 

CENTRE FOR TESTS: Document verification / tests will be held at Reception Centre (Recruitment Cell) of 5471 ASC Battalion near Barfani Mandir Opposite SD College, Pathankot Cantt (Punjab).
 
Candidates  can submit their application only by Registered/Speed/Ordinary Post as per the format  and must attach duly attested photocopies of under mentioned documents from (a) to (h) as applicable duly attested.

The photograph and document should be self attested alongwith the application. If applying for more than one post, separate applications in separate envelopes should be sent for each post. Original certificates are not (NOT) to be dispatched with application form, and should be brought in person on the day of the written test. 

Last date of receipt of application is 22nd March 2019.

In November 1965, the Department of Defence Supplies was created for planning and execution of schemes for import substitution of requirements for defence purposes. These two Departments were later merged to form the Department of Defence Production and Supplies.

In 1980, the Department of Defence Research and Development was created. In January 2004, the Department of Defence Production and Supplies was renamed the Department of Defence Production. A Scientific Adviser to the Defence Minister was appointed to advise on scientific aspects of military equipment and the research and design of defence forces equipment. The Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare was created in 2004.
