Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (MSc in Physics, Applied physics, Materials Science or equivalent) with NET Eligibility OR Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E./B.Tech) with NET Eligibility OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.E/M.Tech in Materials Science or equivalent) (*NET Eligibility includes, NET-JRF, NET-Ls, JAM, GATE, DBT-BET, CSIR-UGC, GPAT, ICMR-JRF, ICAR-AICE, JEST, JGEEBILS conducted by Central Government According to SERB OM SB/S9/Z-01/2015 undefined 07/01/2015) OR The students without NET eligibility are also encouraged to apply, and their application will be considered as per SERB norms and recommendations of selection committee.

Fellowship :

Candidate with NET eligibility : For first 2 years: Rs.25000/- per month + HRA (as per SERB norms) and Rs. 28000/- per month + HRA (as per SERB norms) for 3rd year

Candidate with without NET eligibility*: For first 2 years: Rs.16000/- per month + HRA (as per SERB norms) and Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA (as per SERB norms) for 3rd year
