- Conceptualize unidirectional flow of materials, optimize the material conveying distances.
- Layout norms and safety standards are followed
- Check coordinates of different units and avoid interference during construction
- Suggest or modify the routing of conveyors, inter plant piping networks in case of any issues during engineering stage
- To decide the location of enabling and infra facilities, road diversion schemes during construction
- Approval of Vendor drawings
- Release of specifications, tender scrutiny and appraisal
- Estimation of volume of works
- Rate analysis and cost estimates
- Conceive all the temporary facilities that will be required during project stage of an Integrated Plant
- Coordinate with consultants and other area managers for release of coordinates of enabling and Infra facilities
- Ensure compliance to Indian Railway standards for all rail track / hot metal track related layouts and execution at site
- Maintain the history of all changes taking place in plant layout and related activities and retrieval system
- Schedule of activities
- Ensure all the project related documents are properly documented and available as records in archives
Educational qualifications: BE / B-tech (Civil / Mechanical)
