Electrical Junior Engineer (OSM)  job in Central Railway

No. of Posts :  05 (UR-03, SC-01, OBC-01)

Qualifications :  A) Candidates should posses the required academic/Technical qualification on or before date of Issuing of Notification for applying against the post notified vide notification as given below. Category of Post Essential Prescribed Qualification Elect Junior Engineer Level-6. Four Years Bachelors degree in

(a) Electrical or

(b) combination of any sub strem of basic streams of Electrical from a recognized University/ Institute OR B) Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.

NOTE :  (1) the candidate must have secured minimum marks in Bachelor’s Degree /diploma for junior technical Associates (Elect) as mentioned above as given below.

1) General candidates : 60%

2) OBC –Non Creamy Layer : 55%

3) SC/ST Candidates : 50%

Remuneration :

“Z” Class – Rs. 25000/-

“Y” Class – Rs. 27000/-

“X” Class – Rs. 30000/-

Age Limit :

UR – 33 Yrs

OBC – 36 Yrs

SC/ST – 38 Yrs

Examination Fee :  

(i) For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para

(ii) below Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred Only) (NON-REFUNDABLE)

(ii) For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Minorities*/ EWS Rs.250/-(Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision for refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Personality/Intelligence Test. If called for. Candidates in this category should check their eligibility thoroughly before applying. Fee in respect of candidates who are ineligible, but still apply, shall not be refunded. 

Selection Criteria :

(A) Qualification  - 55 marks

(B) Experience -  30 marks

(C) Personality/Intelligence -  15 marks
