ii. Electronics & Communication Engineering - 150
iii. Mechanical Enqineering - 100
iv. Electrical & Electronics Enqineering - 25
v. Chemical Enqineering - 05

3. Monthly stipend (lNR): 10,400/-

4. Duration of Trainig: 01 year

5. Minimum Educational Qualification:

i. Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline
ii. Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline
iii. I Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

6. Minimum Physical Standards: As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992, and amendments thereof if any.

7. Previous Training/ Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.

8. Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship.

Age Limit:
Maximum age limit of 22 years for General, age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates will be provided as per Government norms.
