What is UNOM ?

University of Madras is a public state university in Chennai (formerly Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 1857, it is one of the oldest and premier universities in India. The university was incorporated by an act of the Legislative Council of India.

At present, there are 73 academic departments grouped under 18 schools, covering diverse areas such as sciences, social sciences, humanities, management and medicine along with 109 affiliated colleges and 52 approved research institutions.

Madras University has released the undergraduate, UG and postgraduate, PG results for the semester examinations conducted in November 2017. The results are now available on the official website of the university. Candidates are advised to note that the rush on the traffic is causing the website to become unresponsive. The result of the Madras University was confirmed by Professor Rama Senunawasan, Registrar of Madras University yesterday in an official statement. The results are now released on the official website results.unom.ac.in. The steps to check the results and the link are provided below. All candidates are advised to note that the results are not available at present and would be released in a short while. Update regarding the result would be made available on the page.

  4. Click on the desired link & select course & name & enter your roll number.
  5. Now click on the submit button, the result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Save & take printout of your result.

Madras University Revaluation Result 2017 Declared for UG, PG Madras University revaluation results have been declared. The revaluation results are for various Undergraduate and Postgraduate professional degree courses of Madras University.
