The National Institutes of Technology are autonomous public institutes of higher education, located in India. They are governed by the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007, which declared them as institutions of national importance alongside Indian Institutes of Technology.
Nit Admission Procedure 2018
National Institute of Technology (NIT), Delhi offers various degree courses at Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate levels in the Engineering and Technology disciplines. Admission to B.Tech program is done through JEE Main followed by counselling. The admission to M.Tech courses is offered on the basis of a valid GATE score. For admission in the Ph.D. course, candidates have to appear in the entrance test conducted by the institute followed by an interview.
- NIT, Delhi offers a four-year B.Tech program in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- To qualify for NIT-D admissions into B.Tech a candidate must score minimum 75% in class 12th examination or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th examination conducted by the state board.
- Admission is done through counselling conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) based on JEE Main Ranking.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Year of appearance in Qualifying Examination (QE) Candidates who have passed class XII or equivalent examination in 2017 or 2018 or those who will be appearing in class XII or any other equivalent examination in 2019 will be eligible to appear in JEE Main 2019.

JEE Main 2018 Application Form, NIT, IITs, online apply: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi programs of JEE Main for admission of eligible applicants in India’s authorized engineering colleges (IITs, NITs & CFTIs etc.). The application form will be available in the month of November 2017. IITs and ISMs are the premier engineering and science colleges in India, hence the application needs to pass the intermediate exam JEE Advanced for securing admission to them.

Nit Admission Process 2018
JEE Main 2018 Last Minute Tips:
- Keep your mind cool and peaceful.
- Do not rush for more study.
- Keep your health up.
- There is no dress code for JEE Main exam.
- Wear such apparels that can give you comfort in sitting for a 3 hours.
- Keep your admit card ready with ID proof (and PwD certificate if applicable).
- Locate the name and date of exam centre.
- The Paper Based Test has complted on 8th April 2018.
- The Computer Based Test will be held on 15th/16th April 2018.
- The exam will be scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (for Paper-1).
- The exam will be scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (for Paper-2).
- Reach the exam centre before 1 hour of exam time.
- Do not take exam pressure.
- And, be positive.
