Banaras Hindu University, formerly Central Hindu College, is a public central university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1916 by Madan Mohan Malaviya. With over 30,000 students residing in campus, it claims the title of largest residential university in Asia.

BHU 2018 Counselling for UET/PET courses has been started from 4th July 2018. The Banaras Hindu University was founded by the Bharat Ratna Mahamansa Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in 1916. The university offers UG, PG and Diploma/Certificate programmes in various disciplines. BHU conducts its own entrance exam for providing admissions to its affiliated institutions. It is a Central University, which is comprised of 5 institutions. Admissions into MBA programmes is done through CAT 2017. BHU Counselling 2018
The counselling for BHU Admission 2018 will be done on the basis of marks secured in entrance exam. The University will conduct its counseling through online mode. Students can attend the BHU counselling on the basis of their rank. The seats will be allotted to the students according to their rank and availability of seats in various colleges. Students have to bring the allotment letter at the time of reporting to the allotted college.

BHU LLB and BA-LLB Admission 2019
BHU also offers BA.LLB and LLB courses to the aspiring students who want to pursue their career in the field of Law. The duration for BA.LLB and LLB are 5 years and 3 years.
In order to seek admission in BA.LLB, students must have qualified 10+2 level or equivalent in relevant discipline. The eligible candidates need to appear in Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) conducted by the university. The total number of seats available is 60.
The applicant who have obtained 10+2 through open Universities System directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
The SC/ST candidates seeking admission to LL.B Course/B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) must have scored at least 40% marks in the aggregate considering all the subjects in the Qualifying Examination
For OBC and PC candidates there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination in minimum eligibility requirements, in comparison to general category candidates

BHU PG Admission through PET 2019

BHU Application Form 2019 for MBA programme has been started from 10th September 2018. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) was founded by the Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in 1916. It is one of the most reputed central universities in India. The university will conduct separate BHU Entrance Exam 2019 for UG & PG programmes, i.e. UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) & PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test). It is organized for providing admission to the UG, PG & diploma/certificate courses offered by the University itself & its affiliated colleges. Aadhaar card will be mandatory to fill the application except for J&K, Assam & Meghalaya states.
The information bulletin & application form will not be sold in offline mode.
BHU online Application Form 2019 will be issued from the first week of February 2019 for both UG & PG courses.
The last date to fill the application form will be the first week of March 2019.
Candidates must have scanned their photograph and signature as per instruction.
Take a printout copy of the online filled up application form for future records.
